Priyadarshini Sanyal Disciple of Guru Shri Sandip Mallick, A dedicated Kathak performer, teacher, and choreographer from West Bengal, India. She began her dance journey under the guidance of her father and Guru, Shri Pranab Sanyal. Her passion for Kathak deepened through special talim from Late Guru Pt. Om Prakash Maharaj ji and continues to flourish under the mentorship of eminent Guru Shri Sandip Mallick.
She holds an M.A. in Dance (Kathak) from Rabindra Bharati University, and is a B-graded artiste of Doordarshan. Her devotion to Kathak is further enriched through regular workshops with stalwarts like Padma Vibhushan Pt. Birju Maharaj ji, Pt. Chitresh Das, Pt. Rajendra Gangani,
Padma Bhushan Kumudini Lakhia ji, and Guru Saswati Sen.
She has been conferred the prestigious ‘Ratnamani’ Award in Kathak by Sarbabharatiya Sangeet- O-Sanskriti Parishad, recognizing her excellence and commitment to the art form.
